We met almost 10 years ago at Auto Zone where Corey was working at the time. We had a instant and undeniable connection that told me this man was meant to be in my life. (The gorgeous eyes and second language may have played a small part!) I didn't know for how long and for what purpose, but I knew that he was special. After speaking on the phone for over two weeks, we knew we found a friend for life in each other. Our friendship was based on us being our authentic selves. Honesty, laughter, communication and our love for music kept us in each other lives through every obstacle we faced. After 8 years of friendship, the love we had for each other overwhelmed us and we knew we did not want to go another day without being together. Before I knew it, in front of my family and with my mother's blessing before she passed, he asked to spend the rest of my days with him as his wife!! 

While working, I saw this girl with an amazing smile who thought I didn't notice her, but of course I did and knew I had to meet her. Once I did, I realized I found a friend that would eventually become my best friend. I knew very shortly thereafter that I was going to marry her, I just had to convince her to let me out of the friendzone! She made loving me look easy, and there was no way I was going to let her get away. She gave me a new outlook on life, made me a better man and showed me what true unconditional love meant. Now in addition to the reception and honeymoon, I can't wait to give my queen my last name.
