It was bright and early the morning of March 18, 2016. Seth pretended to get up and go to work. April was beginning her spring break from school so she had no plans to get out of bed. Seth comes back home around 8:00am, waking April, telling her he didn't feel like going to work. He told her he had gotten breakfast and Starbucks and for April to join him in the living room. April put up a fight, it was her first day of spring break and it was 8:00am! Seth finally convinced her to get up and as she began to walk out of the bedroom he covered her eyes. At this point, April was convinced she was getting a puppy! But what she opened her eyes to was even better. Everything after that is a blur...one knee, rose petals, champagne, candles...and Starbucks (the real way to April's heart). Seth had it planned forever and had taken the day off to take April to lunch and spend the day together. He also cleverly planned their engagement party for that very same night, because April had always told him she wanted her family and friends there when they got engaged. That night was filled with hugs and laughs from our closest family and friends.
